The big majority of the world population believes that there is a God somewhere and pray to him day after day. The christian believers have Jesus, the musulmans have Alllah and like them there are many other cultures that believe in a god of their own. So the question is: how many gods are there ? Is there only god, the god in which our religion believes - that would mean that the rest of the world prays to a pagan god - and that is a scary thing to think about, or there many gods in this world and we just pray to our own.

But what is a god though ? A god is a being of higher purpous, omniscience, omnipotent and omnipresent, a supernatural creator that made us and looks over us. We pray to him for a better and happier life. Christians believe there can be only god, but their god has god three forms. The Father - creator of the world, the one who created land, waters, nature and man. The Son - Jesus Christ who was sent down to earth to save man kind from itself. He was killed on a crous but ressurected in the third day. The Holy Spirit - the spirit that watches over the christians. This religion began when the son of god Jesus Christ went on earth and preached to the world. Many people then followed him, and after his death, his revive and his rising they still believed he was the son of God and started a church. Christian were persecuted but they kept to their believes.

The muslims also believe there is one God, translated to Arabic, called Allah. Their religion is called Islam and the muslims believe their religions is as older as the world, that since the days of Adam there was a muslim on the world, but the religion waited for the porphet Muhammad to rise; the musilm waited for the prophet to iluminate them about God's way.

I could go on and on with every religion on this  world but the fact is we won't know how many gods are there no mather how much we try. The only way for us to truely know is to wait to the end of our lives. But still the questions raises in our minds: are there any gods, am I praying to the right one, how many gods are there ?
